Why is Gandhism promoted as a form of governance in India?

after all congress has created a myth like gandhism which is more fiction than fact.so they reap benefits from it.congress dont follow the real gandhi who said ban conversions,that converting a man's faith for a morsel of grain is wrong.they follow the gandhigiri of sanjay dutt.shame on congress.
