Help??? I MUST KNOW THE ANSWER! -- Harry Potter question!?

Did Sirius Black die by a killing curse from Bellatrix Lestrange or did she not send him a killing curse and he died purely by falling through the veil?? JK never specifies what kind of curse that Bellatrix hits Sirius with and this is a question that plagues me night and day!
