Can a US citizen work in Canada under a LLC without applying for a work visa?

I am a US citizen under a 1-person LLC, my own company. What procedure needs to be followed to be employed as a contractor in Canada under that LLC? Is this possible? And would this cirvent the est 3 year waiting period for a work visa? Many thanks, S
