Pampered chef rubber oven mitt?

I bought this at a used store thinking it was like on oven glove. It's a red rubber bumpy mitt that is shaped just like a pot holder. I can't find any info about it online and until I'm sure I won't try it with anything hot. It says The Pampered Chef on it and has a small hole by the opening like where it may have had a ring on it, like to hang it. Anyone know what this is?
