Is this a good representation for a story i have to write?

It's a good poem. I'm not sure what you mean by representation. Do you want to turn it into a story? It will need a conflict. Man against himself, I suppose, but it would need an ending of some type. It doesn't have to be a happy one if you don't want it to. You have a great 'slice of life' scene. There are several ways to turn it into a story. Good luck.
