Should the NBA make their awards like the MLB ?

Every year there is controversy with the awards givin by the NBA when it comes to the MVP award, ROY, DPOY, ECT. Some people thought Kevin Durant deserved the MVP and some though Brandon Jennings was the ROY instead of Tyreke Evans so with that said why dont the NBA give the award East and West kind of like how the MLB does with the AL and NL, like for example: East MVP : Lebron James, West MVP: Kevin Durant. East ROY: Brandon Jennings West ROY: Tyreke Evans. I think it can work and it can be fair. What you think ?
